Bred banque Populaire

Bred Banque Populaire is a cooperative bank belonging to the BPCE group. It offers many banking and insurance products and services. I joined the web team in charge of the bred.fr editorial site as well as its customer area.
The objective was to make the site more liveable with more direct access to products and thus generate more leads. Decrease the bounce rate once on a product page. For this, a redesign of the site was necessary.

My approach

With the team, we made an inventory of the site, gathering all the data to categorize them. On the one hand we have what is positive and on the other what generates irritants. The tree structure was much too complex with a tangle of entries and as many exit points.

Flatten the tree

We found that there was redundancy of pages and entries. The first rework was to prune, pool and simplify the site tree.
To do this, we interviewed prospects and customers to find out their motivations for going to bred.fr.
The entry by projects was acclaimed.
We have also undertaken work to simplify the product pages with an FAQ specific to each.

Better understand all interactions

The site is a gateway between users, customer service and the bank advisor. Interviews were conducted with users, focus groups with the profession and shadowing with advisors. We have collected affinities and constraints to better understand the needs of each group and offer solutions through a new experience.

Production and delivery

Before integrating the pages via our CMS, we also had to review the production method. In fact, a web graphic charter was applied derived from the print charter. I approached the team about the notion of a UI kit that needed to be put in place now because it was more suitable.
This UI kit would evolve into a much more complete Design System.
We wanted the interface kit to meet accessibility standards; we used a specialized third party. I therefore created the prototypes which were used to carry out new tests in order to validate and be able to launch production.
