Give companies a reliable way to become eco-friendly

A former colleague with whom I had kept good contact asked me to help him launch his startup. With his partner, they had the idea of offering a decarbonization solution to businesses. Their desire to enable companies to work with responsible actors in order to create a virtuous end-to-end production of an entrepreneurial chain.

My approach

Definition of values and business exploration

I led value definition workshops in order to be able to establish the purpose of the business and translate the business value into a promise for the customer. From this promise a problem was identified, how to enable companies and individuals (in T2) to make a responsible transition?
It was now easier for us to know in which market segment we would position ourselves. We carried out a benchmark of the players present in order to better understand the practices of the

Gauge interest Meet expectations

In order to validate our hypotheses, we had to evaluate the ability to transform a prospect into a customer.
So we conducted interviews and shared questionnaires. The feedback was encouraging and the approach appreciated.

However, one question often came up, how will Vetted ensure that the solutions proposed are responsible and sustainable?
A problem linked to the credibility and legitimacy of the business was added.

Answer to the expectations

I then led workshops to determine the features to integrate to solve our problems. The result was an experience map as well as a userflow.

Concerning legitimacy, we thought of regular communication based on podcasts, talks and testimonials from actors recognized as responsible on Vetted's social networks. Vetted would ensure the “verified” status of solution providers by verifying their label with the government.

Delivery

Following our workshops, we had features that we categorized as absolutely having to be part of the MVP and others that we categorized “to be integrated into T2”. Given that we had made enough progress on the product, I was able to provide a prototype integrating phase 2, the proposal of solutions to individuals. To create the prototype, I again conducted workshops beforehand so that we could determine the branding, I then created the UI Kit with the core elements which would be destined to evolve into a design system.
